Your response surprises me, as Jordan's politics are similar to my own—an independent classic liberal—although, unlike Jordan, I am an atheist. I am also a critic of the far-left’s illiberal cultural overreach, from its desire to control language to all the ideologies and movements that have crawled out of critical theory. I wonder if you might mean Jordan's rhetoric is appreciated by people you might classify as the reactionary alt-right, if so, that doesn’t mean he shares the politics of that fringe audience.
