The right is experiencing an existential crisis, their long term prognosis doesn’t look good. In a state of paranoia and panic, they’re clawing desperately for power – everything is perceived as a threat.

More and more right-wingers believe authoritarian Republican rule will ensure their cultural survival. Even so, the liberal majority isn’t going anywhere and republicans can only hold back progress for so long.
