Firstly, I appreciate your father’s service.

I have been observing the culture wars around LGBTQ+ activism, interested in listening to the arguments from both sides.

I found not all pushback comes down to bigotry or is it always directed at people who identify as LGBTQ+. Much of this legitimate concern centers on the ideological and political nature of the movement.

I have stakes in this matter, having a nephew who is transgender. I also find myself agreeing, worrying that the style of advocacy may hurt the cause.
